2010 AGM

The BEAQ AGM was held on 25 February.
With the welcome return of Shane and Jill and newcomer Calvin, we had 14 members in attendance. There were three apologies from Steve Ashfield, Keith Fainges and Trevor Stanley.
Nominations were received for all positions. The elected committee for 2010-2011 is:

  • President - Anthony Gray
  • Vice President - Kerri Schilling
  • Treasurer - Doneene King
  • Secretary - Val Bartholomew
  • Web master - Steve Ashfield
  • Committee members are Jill Crown, Deirdre Hall, Dianne Hubbard, Maree Lucas-Artell, Terry O'Hanlon-Rose, Debbie Perrett, Alan Roberts, Trevor Stanley, Calvin Tsang, Shane Weir.

2009 USQ Faculty of Business Award Winner

Tamara Niemeyer

Congratulations to Tamara Niemeyer who recently won the University of Southern Queensland Faculty of Business Award for a Business Graduate 2009 sponsored by BEAQ. The prize is a 12-month individual membership of BEAQ valued at $99. We hope Tamara enjoys the benefits of our Association of Business Educators and wish her well in her future business pursuits.
