2010 BEAQ Conference Print E-mail

The 2010 BEA national conference jointly hosted by BEAQ and QETA was held Thursday 15 July – Saturday 17 July 2010 in Brisbane.


Congratulations to the 2010 BEAQ Fellows. Above are some of the Fellows who were presented with framed certificates

Our delegates enjoyed the warm Brisbane hospitality and weather while updating their educational knowledge and skills. The conference was held at the centrally located Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Thursday industry visits were at Virgin Blue, Port of Brisbane Authority, Courier Mail, IKEA, Dreamworld and Sirromet with options for half day sessions at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre. Friday and Saturday comprised of keynote addresses and four breakout sessions on each day.

The conference dinner was held on Friday night 16 July 2010 at the River Room Southbank.
Delegates made the most of their time in Brisbane and enjoyed the social side of the conference against a backdrop of magnificent river views.

Registration fees

Please note:

  • $10 online booking fee will apply for each delegate. This fee has not been included in the conference registration fees indicated below.
  • All registrations to be made online. Payments can be made via cheque, credit card or EFT. All cheque and EFT payments must be accompanied by the booking number which is generated by the online booking system.
  • The conference dinner at The River Room, Southbank on Friday night, 16 July 2010 is $80 if paid prior to 30 June 2010.

Times

The times for the conference each day are 8.00am - 4.30pm. The conference dinner will be drinks at 7pm for a 7.30pm dinner.
