Students attended sessions on investing, electronic commerce, decision making using Accounting as well as sessions on Accounting as a profession and choosing Accounting as a career. We would like to thank our sponsors: CPA Australia, the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and Reckon (Quickbooks) for their participation in order to make it a fun day not only for the students but also for the supervising teachers as well. The organising BEAQ sub-committee would like to thank all the people who helped on the day, both BEAQ executive members and QUT School of Accountancy staff. Without their help this day would not be possible. Lastly, a big vote of thanks should go to Sandra Kenman, who has been involved in running the Accounting Student Forum since it began in 2002.
